Megan Sukys and I experimented with a contemporary myth as a way to visualize encountering and transforming despair.
In this 60-page X-Men Bootleg Comic, Demon Country X, we used the X-Men as modern pop-archetypes to explore themes of despair, self-doubt, and Art-making.
